由英國政府地方發展、房屋及社區部門撥款資助，英國港僑協會主辦的移英港人家園計劃，聯同我們其中一個合作夥伴 RENAISI，透過一系列免費的網上工作坊，去支援移居英格蘭、威爾斯及北愛爾蘭的香港人就業。 工作坊所講解的題目會涵蓋尋找職位空缺、認識英國社會規範、辨認求職障礙、設定求職目標、學習如何溝通、建立高質素 CV、cover letter、personal statement 去展現自己、以及學習如何準備及做好面試。
As a part of Mission PERM funded by DLUHC, Hongkongers in Britain is working with Renaisi to support Hongkongers living in England, Wales and Northern Ireland regarding employment through a series of free online workshops. Topics include job search, understanding social norms and taboos in the UK, identifying barriers, setting up goals, learning how to communicate and present yourself in high-quality CVs, cover letters, personal statements, and learning how to prepare and carry out a successful interview.
Renaisi 亦會為工作坊參加者提供免費的一對一的就業支援，名額有限。
由2022年3月7日至2022年6月17日，工作坊會在星期一、星期三及星期五進行。 事不宜遲，請從速報名！

你或許會問，為甚麼會有5月35日這一天？
1989年6月4日，天安門發生大屠殺，從此6月4日這一天便在中國消失了。2021年起，這一天也在香港消失了……
講述六四天安門大屠殺的舞台劇《5月35日》於2019年在香港上演後獲多個舞台劇獎項。三年轉眼已過，桃花依舊，人面卻全非。此劇已不可能再於香港公演了。
6月3日，讓我們在錫菲重溫歷史，承傳香港人的故事，延續我們香港人的身份。

On 4th June 1989, the Tiananmen Massacre took place in Beijing. History was changed on that fateful day and from that date onward, 4th June was erased in China.
“35th May” tells the story of the June 4th Massacre. This critically acclaimed play premiered in Hong Kong in 2019 and received many awards. Alas, sharing the same fate with the very date, the play is now banned in Hong Kong.
On 3 June, let us preserve our memories, history and identity in Sheffield, keep the story of Hongkongers alive.

香港醫護人員移英概況
繼《新來英港人的就業及工作情況調查》之後，港僑會向英國國民保健署製作了一份簡單初步的報告。
調查所得將有助該署了解香港醫護人員來英定居就業的概況，以便改善及制訂國民保健署的招聘策略。

這份報告揭示了一項線上調查的結果，香港在香港實施《國安法》一年後，香港人在抵達英國後居住或計劃居住的地方，他們在抵英六個月後是否打算搬遷（如果有的話）、他們是否有孩子以及他們需要在哪裡上學。

2021 年 7 月 7 日是 英國港僑協會 成立一週年紀念日，盼毋忘往年，在家鄉發生天翻地覆的劇變後，由港抵英篳路藍縷的艱辛與拼搏精神。
從街頭抗議到議會辯論、高喊口號與發表報告，我們一同走進並融入英國當地社區。
民主與自由，精神永不朽。

信念
「香港並非指一個地方，而是一群熱愛民主及自由價值的人。英國港僑協會，作為一個認同普世價值的僑務組織，旨在協助香港人既保留獨特文化，同時也融入英國的社區。本人希望藉由本會的成立，香港所面對的並不是終結，而是一個新時代的開始。」

背景
香港的自由受到史無前例的打壓。從反送中運動以來，過千人被起訴；越來越多人到海外尋求庇護。
覆巢之下，焉有餘卵？百萬人的人權遭受直接壓迫。隨著港區國安法的頒布，在將來這個數字只會不斷攀升。
香港人的自由岌岌可危。
隨著英國政府宣佈擴大英國國民(海外)及家屬在英國居留的權利，「國際救生艇」計劃的呼聲亦都越來越高。在最黑暗的時刻，我們還有希望。
我們是誰
本會由一班心繫香港的居英港人組成。團隊成員各有所長，過去投身於社會運動、國際關係、人權監察以及推動香港文化等領域。
如今聚於本會，將致力加強英國政府與香港人的連結並支援香港人融入英國社會。就此，本會需要各方香港人支持及認同、以支援者的身份達到上述願景。

本會現已建立一個可以讓香港人面對面交流的會址。
本會會址用作在英港人的一般面對面的個案查詢、求助轉介、心理輔導、及與英國當地民眾融合的社區活動之用。
我們旨在於該址凝聚流散港人社區，由此聯繫居於英國各地的港人，保留香港人的影響力，並融入當地。
我們鼓勵香港人為英國經濟做出貢獻，並透過會址與當地人組織社交活動、職業培訓、研討會舉辦、商業配對、文化交流、政策倡議等活動。
